SOCRATE'S LAST DAY
This is N. Margiori’s eighth book and it was published in 1978 (two editions). It presents true Platonic Socrates who, by his last confessions, proves his great belief in the eternity of his spiritsoul, ridiculing thus the opposite believes of the followers of the materialism. As a perfect representative of the Elefsinian Mysteries he expresses the definitions of the metaphysics and establishes a scepticism proper for our perceptions existing beyond our conscious knowledge, that is the other ones that bring the mortal being up to the heights of the Immortality. Socrate’s Last Day opens the prospects for a n new life to man. It tears the curtains of the death and it presents us the Eternity. A new epoch that was the product of the Elefsinian Mysteries. For this reason the writer wrote Socrate’s Last Day, after his book Elefsinian Mysteries. Every book of the writer is the next scale for the elevation of man to the heavenly heights, where the eternity and the transcendency go along with and have a close intercourse.
